“Blessings of God can only be achieved if we can obey by giving unto God first, even though unpleasant to us as Allah has ways of rewarding obedient servant “
This was quoted in the congratulatory message from the Political Head/ Administrator, Aare Latosa LCDA, Hon. Akeem Ayoade on the occasion of 2024 Eid-el-Adhan celebration
Ayoade, while extending his felicitation to all Muslim ummah across the globe, urged all to imbibe the spirit of obedience, trustworthiness and love as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) who was to sacrifice his only son in fulfillment of his vow made if given a child by Allah.
He stressed that the height of obedience and trustworthiness displayed by him was exceptional, before Allah rewarded his obedience to kill his own son to worship Him, with a big white ram quoting that, it is the essence of celebrating Eid-el-Adhan today
According to the LCDA boss, “within any unpleasant situation, there are always blessings of Allah at the end if we can obey and do according to His directive
“I want us all to emulate these principles and virtues in order see and eat the goods of the land.
“As this festival also signifies love by sharing with extended families, relations and friends, we should extend it to communal related activities in a view to having, peaceful co-existence within our communities
“I heartily fete all Muslim ummah within Aare Latosa LCDA and Oyo State in general on this year Eid El Adhan festival and pray for continued abundance of His blessings and peaceful co-existence within the LCDA .
“Let us all use the opportunity of this season to seek His blessings and more positive direction for Oyo State and Nigeria through steadfastness, commitment and obedience to His commandments at all time even when it is not convenient or pleasant”, he concluded
