Eid-el-Kabir: Itesiwaju LG boss, Hon. Ojo Olayemi felicitates Muslim faithful

Hon. Ojo Monsur Olayemi, the Executive chairman of Itesiwaju LG, on behalf of the Legislative arm of the council, the vice Chairman, management team and staff, traditional council, the PDP family and the good people of Itesiwaju LGA, rejoices with the entire Muslim body in the state and Itesiwaju LG in particular on the occasion of this year 2024 Eid-el-kabir(ileya festival).
Sending his heart felt greetings, the council boss congratulates all Muslim faithful for witnessing this year’s ileya festival and thanked the almighty Allah for his Mercy to be part of those who would celebrate Eid-el-kabir this year. He further prayed that we would all live to experience many more of this festive period in the land of the living.
The council helmsman, Hon. Monsur specially appreciated His Excellency ,Engr. (Dr.) Oluseyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo state, for being there for the people of Oyo state, especially the less privileged inorder to also feel the aura of this ileya season, assuring the people that this administration term of office would be a refreshing time for all.
The chairman in his good will messages admonished all adherents of Islam in the LG and our state in particular to put on good character as excamplified by prophet Ibrahim (saw) our patriarch, who became the friend of Allah because of his great faith in the almighty Allah, totally obedience to Him and his heart of giving by not withholding his only son from the will of Allah. He noted that “when you love God and surrender all to Him, your love for others would show forth in sharing with others goodies that the almighty Allah had put in your custody and helping others would not be a difficult task”. He also enjoined all Muslim faithfuls to be their brother’s keepers.
The humble son of oke-amu, Hon. Monsur Olayemi also used the avenue to appreciate all the electorate, his party members and leaders for their full support during the just concluded LG’S election.
Moreover, the number one citizen of itesiwaju LG, Hon. Ojo Monsur Olayemi further urged all and sundry to be vigilant and be security wise,even at this period of festivity, and that if any criminal activity is noticed or perceived, urgent security attention should be sought and useful report should be given and related to any near by security post/agents. Thus, the chairman concluded his message by wishing all residents of Itesiwaju Local Government, otu and the entire state “a hitch- free Eid-el-kabir”.
