Osun State First Lady, Titilola Adeleke, to host Oluremi Tinubu on Tuesday

In anticipation for the arrival of the wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for the official sod-turning ceremony of the Alternative High School for Girls in Osun State, wife of the State Governor, Chief Mrs Titilola Adebusola Adeleke, and Founder Imole Osun Rekindled Hope Foundation has put everything necessary machinery in motion for  pleasant hosting of ipTinubu to the state of the living spring.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu who will on Tuesday April 23rd perform the official sod turning ceremony of the school in Osogbo is expected to be accompanied by First Ladies from other states to the ceremony.

According to Mrs Adeleke, Alternative High School for Girls is one of Remi Tinubu’s interventions in education from her pet project “Renewed Hope Initiative” (RHI) which covers health, agriculture, women empowerment, education and aged/adult support scheme.

“Osun State was chosen earlier this year for citing of the school through the office of First Lady of Osun state, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Titilola Adebusola Adeleke.

 In a proactive reaction, the state government has since started all preliminary preparations towards a hitch free and successful ceremony. She said

In succession, two powerful delegation from the Office of the First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria and Universal Basic Education (UBEC) were in Osun State separately to meet with First Lady, Chief Mrs Adeleke to facilitate smooth take off.

While addressing Journalists in her office on the significance of the school, Mrs Adeleke posited that the school aims to give girls who dropped out of school a second chance in education and as a major step towards empowering the most vulnerable young women in the state.

“The goal of the school is to give our young girls the second chance to be self sustainable and generally independent especially those confronted with issues like teen pregnancy, domestic violence, human trafficking and drug addiction, by creating an attractive and  resourceful pathway way back to the classroom, the initiative is expected to transform young female lives and generates huge enrolment when finally completed”.
