
The Chairman Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Ibadan, Dr Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has commiserated with families of victims of the bomb blast which occured on Tuesday night in Dejo Oyeleye Street, Bodija Estate, Ibadan.
The incident which according to sources claimed many lives and left several persons injured destroyed so many houses in the area.
In a press statement, Dr Adewale, the Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs described the development as tragic, sad and very unfortunate, urging the people to be calm
The statement reads in parts:
“I extend my deepest condolences to the victims and families affected by the recent bomb blast in our beloved city of Ibadan. In the wake of this tragedy, our hearts are heavy with grief, and words alone cannot convey the pain we feel for those who have lost their lives or suffered injuries.
“As a community, we stand united in solidarity, offering our collective support to the affected families, friends, and all those who have been touched by this unfortunate event. The resilience of the people of Ibadan has been tested, but I am confident that we will emerge stronger in the face of adversity.
“In times like these, it is crucial for us to come together, offering not just condolences but a helping hand to those in need. Let us channel our grief into actions that bring comfort and aid to those who have been directly impacted by this senseless act of violence.
“I call upon local authorities, community leaders, and citizens to collaborate in providing the necessary resources and assistance to those affected. Together, we can rebuild the shattered lives and restore hope to our community.
“As we mourn the loss of innocent lives, let us also reflect on the values that define us as a people – resilience, compassion, and unity. In the face of darkness, let the light of our collective spirit guide us towards a better and more secure future.
“May the departed souls rest in peace, and may the injured find strength in their recovery. Let us stand as one, unwavering in our commitment to peace and harmony, ensuring that such incidents do not cast a permanent shadow on the vibrant spirit of Ibadan.”
While condoling with Oyo State Government on the sad development, Dr Adewale prayed God to continue to uphold and guide the city of Ibadan and move the state forward.
