The Chairman, Police Community Relation Committee (PCRC), Chief Adetola Adejumobi has commended the new Divisional Police Officer, SUP Kolawole Oladipo for his proactive approach in tackling water scarcity causing hardship in the police barrack barely a month of assumption of office.
The Chairman gave the commendation during his speech at their monthly meeting held at PCRC hall recently.
Chief Adejumobi during his remarks said no fewer than one hundred okada riders in illegal activities were made to face the wrath of law.
On assumption of office ,SUP Oladipo had successfully held meetings with stakeholders, various organizations and ethnic heads on how to live peacefully with and among members of the community.
According to the Police Officer, Kolawole Oladipo who resuscitated the moribund operational vehicles abandoned by his predecessors explained that the steps was in a right direction to ensure they have a functional system in the area.
According to him, the steps he took to reposition things since he assumed office was aimed at ensuring comfort of the people.
He admonished the rank and file in the division to reciprocate his gestures and cooperate with him in order to return dignity of the police profession.
