The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin, has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, as well as Mrs. Aderonke Adedayo on her appointment as Director-General of the Oyo State Due Process Office.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin described the appointments as a recognition of the appointees’ competence, experience, dedication to public service and capacity to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and development of Oyo State.
The Speaker, in his congratulatory message, said the appointments reflected Governor Makinde’s confidence in the abilities of the two individuals to discharge their respective responsibilities effectively and support the administration’s commitment to good governance and sustainable development.
He noted that the office of the Chief of Staff was central to effective executive coordination, policy implementation and the maintenance of a productive working relationship between the Governor and key stakeholders in government.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin expressed confidence that Akinwole’s wealth of experience, political understanding and knowledge of the state’s political landscape would come to bear in his new role
The Speaker also congratulated Mrs. Adedayo on her appointment as Director-General of the Oyo State Due Process Office, describing the office as a critical institution in promoting transparency, accountability, fairness and value for money in public procurement and government expenditure.
He expressed optimism that her appointment would further strengthen the state’s procurement processes, enhance compliance with established regulations and reinforce public confidence in the management of government resources.
