


The Co-Chairperson for Women Mobilisation of the BAO National Campaign Council in Ekiti State,distinguished Senator Biodun Olujimi, has called on women across the 16 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of Ekiti State to turn out en masse for today’s APC Mega Rally scheduled to hold at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, Ado-Ekiti.
In a statement released through her SBO Media Team in Ado-Ekiti, the former Senate Minority Leader urged women groups, party faithful, market women, artisans, professionals, youths, and other stakeholders to actively participate in the rally as a demonstration of support for the re-election bid of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and his deputy Chief Mrs Monisade Christianah Afuye.
Senator Olujimi described Governor Oyebanji’s administration as one that has prioritised inclusive governance, infrastructure development, human capital advancement, youth empowerment, and women participation in leadership and decision-making processes.
According to her, the rally presents an opportunity for Ekiti women to reaffirm their commitment to continuity, stability, and the sustained progress being witnessed across the state under the leadership of Governor Oyebanji.
She encouraged all attendees to come out peacefully and in large numbers, stressing that the collective support of women remains a crucial factor in securing another resounding victory for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election.
Senator Olujimi further expressed confidence that the overwhelming turnout of women and other supporters at the rally would send a strong message of unity and solidarity in support of Governor Oyebanji and his deputy, as the campaign for their re-election gathers momentum across the state.
