Speaking during an interaction with constituents at his country home Ilasa-Ekiti, Barrister Ahmed stated that the electorate have witnessed remarkable progress under the present administration and are prepared to renew the governor’s mandate through their votes.

He urged residents to remain vigilant and resist every form of inducement and vote buying allegedly being deployed by opposition elements to influence the electoral process.

According to him, the future of the state is very important to be traded for temporary gains, stressing that voters should make decisions based on competence, performance, and the overall development of the state.

Barrister Ahmed further called on the people to conduct themselves peacefully before, during, and after the election, while supporting efforts to ensure a free, fair, and credible exercise.

He expressed optimism that Governor BAO would record a sound and decisive victory at the polls, noting that the administration’s track record in infrastructure, human capital development, and governance has continued to resonate with the people.

He also appealed to party supporters to intensify grassroots mobilization and encourage eligible voters to participate actively in the democratic process.
“Let us protect our votes, reject vote buying, and support the continued progress of our dear state through peaceful and lawful participation in the election,” he said.
