Alayande University VC, Olaniyan Congratulates New Oyo Head of Service, Adenike Fasina

The Vice-Chancellor of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan, has congratulated the newly appointed Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs Adenike Ayobami Fasina, on her appointment by Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

Professor Olaniyan, in a statement made available by the institution’s Media and Public Relations Officer, Mr ‘Wale Adeoye, described the appointment as a divine reward for diligence, dedication and hard work.

Expressing his delight, the Vice-Chancellor said he joined the people of Oyo State in celebrating Mrs Fasina’s elevation to the top civil service position in the state.

According to him, “Today, I am highly delighted to join my dear sister, Mrs Adenike Ayobami Fasina, in thanking God Almighty for her appointment as the new Oyo State Head of Service. Proverbs 22:29 (KJV) states: ‘Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.’

“Your dedication to duty, diligence and unwavering commitment to administrative excellence have earned you this recognition. I also commend our amiable Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for always striving to give Oyo State the best. This appointment is undoubtedly a case of putting a square peg in a square hole.”

Also felicitating the new Head of Service, the Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin I, described Mrs Fasina’s appointment as another remarkable achievement for Eruwa and its people during his reign.

The monarch prayed for continued progress and more good news for Eruwa town, while wishing the new Head of Service a successful and impactful tenure.

Professor Olaniyan, a renowned economist, also prayed for divine guidance and success for Mrs Fasina in her new office.

“May God Almighty guide and walk with you throughout your tenure,” he prayed.
