The Spiritual Brotherhood for Good Governance (SBGG) has advised Mr. President and all political parties in Oyo State to consider choosing an enlightened mind as a governorship flag bearer in the forthcoming 2027 general election.
This was contained in a release made available to newsmen by Mr. Dauda Kunle Kolawole, SBGG coordinator at the end of their monthly meeting held in Ibadan over the weekend.
According to the release, the advice became necessary because of the strategic position Oyo State holds in world affairs adding that Ibadan, the state capital , is the spiritual and political capital of the yoruba race in Nigeria
He added that the race is known for her historical significance, and reputation of being in the forefront of modern-day development, progress, and pioneering initiatives, setting pace for the world.
“Nigeria and the whole humanity are facing the crises of insecurity, disease, poverty, violent crime, war, pollution, possible ecological collapse, and a lack of real leadership and collective vision because mankind has abandoned his spiritual energy needs, always striving to satisfy his physical energy desires only.
“We are indeed facing the greatest energy crisis – a spiritual energy crisis, which is beyond mere physical, economic, or policy-based solutions of many world governments. It is only when the spiritual energy crisis is resolved that the physical energy that man needs in his journey is made available to him,” it stated
The statement advised that Oyo State as a Pace Setter, ought to be given special attention for a genuine solution to world crises emphasizing that It takes an enlightened mind to lead a state like Oyo
” It is a truly magnificent task which demands power, perception and knowledge of the right kind.The SBGG as a spiritual organization for good governance, call on President Bola Tinubu and well meaning Nigerians including political parties in the state who are troubled over the present situation in the country, to give special consideration when determining who governs Oyo State in the next dispensation.
The SBGG therefore, observed that a support for the candidacy of Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje as the next Executive Governor of Oyo State is a right choice because he has all it takes to lead the State to its past glorious days.
“Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje has moral integrity, a unique philanthropist, a gentleman to the core, a God-fearing man and above all, a man with the wisdom of the great beings in our system – the wisdom needed to raise the spiritual consciousness lacking in our country and the whole world.
The SBGG therefore, charges all Nigerians including religious and spiritual organizations to engage in dynamic and correct prayers as the nation approaches the 2027 general elections “for peace and freedom in the country in these last days of trial and tribulation”
