
The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs, Aare (Dr) Adeyinka Adewale has felicitated the Muslim Ummah and Christians in the state and all over the country as the 2026 Ramadan and Lent commenced.

Aare Adewale who noted that the fast of the two religions started the same day pointed out that God Almighty was using the coincidence in the two fasting seasons to, again, teach adherents of both religions the need for love, unity and religious harmony and that the lesson must not be lost throughout the period.

Aare Adewale who is the Chairman Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, Ibadan commended both the Muslims and Christians in state for living together in harmony extended warm congratulations to the Chief Imam of Ibadan, Sheikh Abdu Ganiyy Agbotomokekere on the occasion of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement, Aare Adewale described Sheikh Abdu Ganiyy Agbotomokekere as “a beacon of spiritual guidance, humility, and unwavering commitment to the teachings of Islam.
He noted that under the leadership of the respected cleric, the Muslim community in Ibadan has continued to experience unity, growth, and renewed dedication to faith-based values.
Aare Musulumi, who ensures peace and harmony among residents of Adamasingba and its environs, commended the Chief Imam for his consistent efforts in promoting peace, interfaith harmony, and moral discipline within society.
According to him, the spiritual and moral direction provided by Sheikh Agbotomokekere has significantly contributed to the stability and religious harmony enjoyed in the ancient city of Ibadan and across Oyo State.
“A true leader is one who leads not only with words but by example,” Aare Adewale stated. “The Chief Imam of Ibadan has demonstrated exemplary leadership, especially in times that call for unity, patience, and prayer.
Aare Dr Adewale urged both Muslims and Christians to use the blessed period to make deeper commitment in serving God and making impact on humanity
