A leading non-governmental organisation, the Harrison Alonge Foundation (HAF), in collaboration with its French business partners, on Monday, January 26, 2026, commenced a five-day working courtesy visit to Nigeria with a tour of the National Conservation Centre (NCC), Lekki, before proceeding to Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, as part of their official engagements in the country.

The visit was led by the Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Alonge Foundation, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), who accompanied the French delegation, including Mr. Frédéric Bourgault, a Director of a leading construction company in Europe, and Madame Karin.

This development was disclosed in a statement released by his Media Aide, Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, and made available to members of the press in Lagos.
The tour provided the visitors with a unique opportunity to explore Nigeria’s conserved forest ecosystem, where they observed various wildlife species such as monkeys, crocodiles, birds, snakes, and fish, as well as diverse plant species within the centre.

The delegation also participated in several activities, including a walk on the famous canopy walkway, which rises approximately 72 feet above ground level, and took photographs at designated scenic points across the conservation centre. The experience was described as both enlightening and memorable.
Thereafter, the group proceeded to the Eko Atlantic waterfront overlooking the Atlantic Ocean to conclude the day’s tour, while the visit continues.
