As Nigerians across the nation enter a new year,
President & General Overseer of United Apostolic Church of Christ, Worldwide, Rev Dr. J. B. Owoyemi has extended warm greetings and a message of hope to all citizens.
In a new year message made available to the press, Revd Owoyemi encourageld Nigerians not to lose hope in the midst of present challenges stating that God remains actively involved in the affairs of nations, including Nigeria.
“I encourageld Nigerians not to lose hope in the midst of present challenges. God remains actively involved in the affairs of nations, including Nigeria. Just as Christ’s birth marked a turning point for the world, so shall divine intervention rewrite the story of our nation at God’s appointed time.
He stated further; “Looking ahead, the Lord has declared 2026 as the Year of Signs and Wonders. I firmly believe that Nigeria will experience God’s mighty hand in the new year.
“Insecurity shall give way to peace, economic hardship shall ease, and the nation shall begin to witness tangible improvements that testify to God’s power and mercy.
” At this crucial time in our national journey, I call on religious leaders and all Nigerians to unite in prayer for our leaders and for the country as a whole. Prayer remains a potent force for national transformation. Through collective intercession, God will grant wisdom, direction, and integrity to those entrusted with leadership, and healing to our land.
” May the hope that came through the birth of Jesus Christ fill every heart, strengthen our collective resolve, and renew our faith in a better and more glorious Nigeria.
” I wish all Nigerians a prosperous new year
