The Chief Executive Officer of Aryfad Travels and Yours Limited, (Chief) Dr Raymond Adeyinka Adewale, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to Christians across Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate the Christmas festival, describing the season as a profound reminder of love, sacrifice, peace and selfless service to humanity.
In his goodwill message, Dr Adewale noted that Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, offers a unique opportunity for individuals, families and communities to reflect on the core values that bind society together, especially love for one another, humility, generosity and compassion for the less privileged.
According to him, the Christmas season should go beyond celebrations and festivities, stressing that the true essence of the occasion lies in demonstrating kindness, forgiveness and unity, particularly at a time when the nation and the global community continue to face economic, social and security challenges.
“Christmas is a season that reminds us of God’s unfailing love for mankind, as shown through the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a call for us to renew our commitment to peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and collective responsibility toward building a better society,” Dr Adewale stated.
Dr. Adewale, who is the Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs urged Christians to use the season to pray fervently for Nigeria, calling for divine guidance for leaders at all levels and for peace, stability and prosperity to reign across the country.
He emphasized that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of unity and understanding among people of different faiths, cultures and backgrounds.
Dr Adewale also commended Christians for their resilience, faith and contributions to national development, noting that Christian institutions and individuals have continued to play critical roles in education, healthcare, humanitarian services and moral guidance across the nation.
He charged Christians and Nigerians generally on commitment to social responsibility, empowerment initiatives and community development, assuring that the nation would soon blossom into success.
“As we celebrate this joyous season, let us remember the needy among us, extend a helping hand where possible and promote harmony in our communities. These simple acts of love and kindness reflect the true message of Christmas,” he added.
Dr Adewale concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful and joyous Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year, praying that the birth of Christ would bring renewed hope, good health and greater opportunities for individuals, families and the nation at large.
“May the joy of Christmas fill every home, and may the coming year usher in new beginnings, progress and lasting peace for us all,” the message read.
