Governorship hopeful and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Aare Olayinka Segelu, has extended warm felicitations to three distinguished Oyo State leaders as they celebrate their birthdays, praising their remarkable contributions to governance and community development.
Aare Segelu, a Germany-based businessman and PDP stalwart, congratulated Hon. Kamorudeen Morenikeji Mudashiru, Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government; Hon. Kehinde Olatunde Taofik Deacon, lawmaker representing Akinyele State Constituency 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly; and Alhaji Azeez Akeem, Personal Assistant to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde.
He described the trio as “worthy ambassadors of the PDP family whose unwavering commitment to public service continues to strengthen the dividends of democracy across Oyo State.”
On Hon. Kamorudeen Morenikeji Mudashiru, Aare Segelu praised his visible grassroots leadership and people-oriented programs as the Chairman of Lagelu Local Government.
“Hon. Mudashiru has brought vibrancy to grassroots administration. His achievements in community development, infrastructure delivery, and inclusive governance speak volumes of his dedication. I pray that this new year will open greater doors of success and fulfillment for him,” Aare Segelu said.
Turning to Hon. Kehinde Olatunde, Aare Segelu recalled his selfless approach to leadership, narrating how in 2022, the lawmaker was directly involved in fixing road maintenance equipment instead of pursuing political accolades.
“Hon. Kehinde Olatunde remains a shining example of people-centered representation. His humility, tireless efforts in legislative business, and his continued support for the needy make him a beacon of service in Oyo State. On this special day, I wish him renewed strength, good health, and divine guidance as he carries on his impactful journey,” Aare Segelu noted.
Aare Segelu also felicitated Alhaji Azeez Akeem, describing him as a loyal and committed aide whose quiet but effective service has been a great support to Governor Seyi Makinde.
“Alhaji Azeez Akeem has demonstrated uncommon loyalty and dedication to the progress of Oyo State under Governor Seyi Makinde. His role may be behind the scenes, but his contributions are felt by many. On the occasion of his birthday, I celebrate him and pray that Almighty Allah grants him long life, good health, and greater opportunities to serve our people,” Aare Segelu stated.
The governorship aspirant emphasized that recognizing leaders at different levels is vital, as their combined efforts sustain the progress of the state and deepen the democratic culture.
