
The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital, Aare (Dr) Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has congratulated the Muslim faithful in the state and across Nigeria on witnessing the Eid-el-Mawlid 2025, urging them to use the auspicious occasion to pray for the country and the state.
Aare (Dr) Adewale who felicitated Muslims, maintained that the spiritual importance of Eid-el-Mawlid cannot be underestimated, as it commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him).
According to him, the Eid-el-Mawlid brings Muslims with a glorious opportunity to be closer to Allah in worship and to seek His face on diverse issues.
“I congratulate Muslim faithfuls in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, and I want to use the occasion to encourage them to intercede for the nation and the leaders to lead the people with wisdom and righteousness. I appreciate the Muslim Ummah in the state for their support for the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I also want to use the occasion to call on them to continue to support the administrations as it works hard to deliver sustainable development to the state.
“Let me felicitate all Muslims in Oyo State and across the country on witnessing the Eid-el-Mawlid 2025. “As a festival that commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him), the Eid-el-Mawlid presents another opportunity for Muslims to draw closer to Allah in worship and to seek His face.
“This is why, apart from felicitating them, I am equally urging them to use the occasion to make further supplications to the Almighty, both for our state and for our country.
Aare (Dr) Adewale who is the Chairman, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Adamasingba, Ibadan noted that only fervent prayers and sincere commitment from Nigerians can help reposition the nation.
“As we all go about celebrating this Eid-el-Mawlid, let me reassure you that our collective commitment towards a new Nigeria is sacrosanct to peace and development of the nation.
