The Oke-ogun Polytechnic, Saki , Oyo State has gotten the approval of the state government for the appointment of Mr Adeolu Ojo Oluwagbemiga as the substantive Registrar of The Oke-ogun Polytechnic, Saki (TOPS) , Oyo state .
The Rector of the institution, Dr. Sikiru Adetona Ajibola who disclosed this during his routine media parley in his office recently also said Mr. Ashimolowo Monsur Abiodun has been appointed as Bursar of the institution .
Ajibola who said their appointments take immediate effect explained that the duo had worked in the institution when it was a satellite campus of The Polytechnic, Ibadan before they both moved to the main campus in Ibadan
He stressed that the duo , having been part of the system would bring their wealth of experiences to bear in the task to take the institution to enviable heights
Expressing his appreciation to the State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde for his unrelenting efforts at reshaping the educational sector in the state , Dr Sikiru Ajibola assured that staff and students welfare, as well as students accademic performance will be given utmost priority in line with the governor’s agenda of nuturing students of the institution to become job providers rather than job seekers after graduation.
The new Registrar, Adeolu Oluwagbemiga hails from Fiditi in Afijio local government area of Oyo state and was until his appointment, a Deputy Registrar at The Polytechnic, Ibadan. He succeeds Chief Jimoh Olatunji Adigun who had been in acting capacity
