As the event, “Orlando Owoh Day” billed for November 8, 2025 at the Blue Roof, LTV 8, Agindigbin Ikeja Lagos continues to gather momentum, music lovers and fans of the late Kennery Music legend in Nigeria and in diaspora have continued to express joy and excitement over the occasion.
Lagos State University (LASU), in collaboration with the Dr Orlando Owoh Global Fans and Related Affairs, will host a grand celebration in honour of the late highlife and Kennery music icon, Chief (Dr) Oladipupo Owomoyela, (Orlando Owoh) at the Blue Roof, LTV 8 premises, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos.
The occasion is now talk of the town, as many are already basking in the euphoria of the forthcoming event.
Meanwhile, in a press statement issued by his son, Orimipe Olusesi Owomoyela—who also serves as the President of the Global Fans Group, said the programme is designed to celebrate the legacy, musical contributions and cultural impact of the Kennery music maestro.
