A prominent traditional ruler of the Urhobo kingdom and staunch member of the Non Indigenes Traditional Council of Ibadan and Oyo state (NITCIOS) His Royal Highness Samuel Emorikowese Anigboro has said that the loss of the Olubadan of Ibadan land His Imperial Majesty ( HIM) Oba Akinloye Ige Olakulehin is a big loss to his kinsmen as well as to the body.

Speaking in reaction to the death of the late Olubadan, Oba Olakulehin , Okobaro stated that the Urhobo people and indeed non indigenes residents in Ibadan are very much pained because of the death and loss of the late Olubadan due to his principles and policies.
Specifically, he explained that the late Oba Olakulehin put a stop to some shy lock land agents and sellers practice of selling a piece of land to more than one buyer knowing fully well that this is fraud and extortion.

His Royal Highness noted that the policy and development alone gave the non indigenes resident in Ibadan peace of mind as they heaved a sigh of relief knowing that they are not being duped whenever they are engaged in land transaction.

“ When His Royal Majesty, the Olubadan Kabiesi Olakulehin was alive, you knew that when you bought a piece of land , you can be rest assured that you are not being set up for fraud and trouble because the late Oba Olakulehin canceled any thing related to land racketeering and fraud” the Okobaro Anigboro pointed out.

He however admonished the non indigenes resident in Ibadan to continue to be law abiding and adhere to laid down rules and regulations of Ibadan people whom he observed have been very accommodating, peaceful and hospitable.
