Isu/Okoma Ebonyi mourns Olubadan’s demise

The Chairman of Isu/Okoma and staunch member of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Oyo state Jerry Uzor has stated that the Igbo in Oyo state are pained by the demise of the late Olubadan of Ibadan land His Royal Majesty Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
Oba Olakulehin joined his ancestors in the earlier hours of Monday peacefully after celebrating his 90th birthday and few days to his one year anniversary on the throne of Olubadan of Ibadan land.
Uzor explained that the Igbo are deeply pained as a result of the sudden demise of Oba Olakulehin adding his reign was signpost by peace and tranquility at least from the Igbo perspective.
Specifically, he revealed that Kabiesi Olakulehin reign was significant for the peace among Ndigbo who had hitherto been and out of court as nobody went court among them for one reason or the other.
Jerry therefore condoled Ibadan people and the Oyo state government noting that they they should be glad that the reign of the departed monarch was a very peaceful,prosperous and progressive one.
He lauded the Oyo state government decision to be part of the burial ceremony by footing the entire cost adding that every one is affected by the loss of Oba Olakulehin as it is not only Ibadan indigenes that are feeling the loss of Oba Olakulehin.
