Honored British based supporter advises Shooting Stars, woos Makinde

A British based Shooting Stars Football Club supporter Niyi Oyewumi has tasked players of the team to strive towards winning two more away matches besides winning the rest of their home matches.
Oyewumi who was honored by the Shooting Stars Supporters club led by Lateef Femi Ajala with a customized jersey of the team said the players have to put more effort to ensure that the Oluyole Warriors end at the top echelon of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) even though they had won an away match.
He said that the players have to show more grit and determination while striving to play both their home and away matches with the mindset of winning adding that all hands must be on deck to ensure that the 1976 African Cup Winners cup Champions and the 1996 and 1999 Nigeria Premier league winners emerge in the top position of the NPFL.
To this end , he posited that every stakeholder including the government must be on board in this regard noting that government must ensure that grant to the team are released in time while the management also motivates and pay the players their bonus and allowances as at when due.
Oyewumi stated that he was honored by the leadership of the Supporter club led by Ajala because of his contributions to the team morally and financially saying that he had been doing this through thick and thin.
“ This is a collective decision of the management to honour me as a result my contribution through the years” he revealed “ when we win, we win together and when they lose, we lose together. We are together all the time irrespective of the situation the team finds itself “
He promised not to relent on his oars observing that this gesture of the management of the Supporters Club will spur him further even as enjoined that all hands must be on deck to make Shooting Stars end very well at the top of the on going Nigeria football league which has less than seven matches before it comes to and end.
Oyewumi prayed the government not to relent in its obligation while urging the management and the stakeholders to ensure that they all rally round the team especially now which is the business end of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL)
