A boxing promoter and staunch supporter of Rilwan Adekola who lost his two belts to a Japanese opponent, Abimbola Adeoye has predicted that the boxer would win his rematch by technical knockout .
Adeoye, son to the late Oyo State Amateur Boxing Board (OSABA) late Emmanuel Adeoye stated that he has so much confidence in the Oyo state born boxer as he was very sure of his ability to deliver at the end of the day.
He pointed out that Rilwan also known as Scorpion lost to the politics of the game adding that he would soon bounce back to reclaim his position.
Recalled that the Oyo state boxer relinquished his Japanese national and his Asian belts during a contest which has a rematch in its clause.
Adeoye revealed that he was sure that Rilwan would win by technical knockout in his rematch where he stands to make so more money.
He posited that Rilwan should have had it at the back of his mind that the bout he lost would be the first he would lose adding that the bout in question indicated that both boxers were fit and very much on top of their game which was the reason why the boxing bout dragged on to the last round following which his opponents was declared winners.
Adeoye however advised Rilwan to prepare well for the rematch stressing that this is also where he stands to make more money even though he will be fighting against an opponent in higher weight category as he did in the first match.
