The Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Abiodun Fadeyi has congratulated Muslim faithfuls in the country on the occasion of the 2025 Ramadan fast, urging them to use the period to intercede for the economic development of the nation.
The Deputy Speaker in a statement described the period as time of sober reflection and a time to remember the needy and render assistance to them.
According to him, Islam as a religion of peace and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, hence, Muslim faithfuls should use the period to pray for the economic development of the nation.
“I congratulate Muslim faithfuls in the country and Oyo State in particular for the grace of witnessing the 2025 Ramadan fast, (1446 AH), I urge Muslims to use this occasion to seek spiritual blessings of this period from Allah, even unto the nation and the administration of governor Seyi Makinde.”
