The Forum of Amonu Igala 36 states and FCT Abuja under the leadership of Chief J.J Daikwo,the Olimene Atta and Onu igala Kaduna state Rejects the Planned Coronation of a “King of Igala in Africa”
This event is a clear attempt to undermine the authority and legitimacy of the Atta Igala, the traditional ruler of the Igala Kingdom.
We call on the organizers to cancel this event and respect the cultural and traditional heritage of the Igala Kingdom.
The Amonu forum of the 36 States and FCT Abuja calls on all Igala sons and daughters to kick against the planned coronation of a “King of Igala in Africa”. This event is an affront to our heritage and a threat to our unity. We must stand together to protect our cultural and traditional institutions.
We stand in solidarity with the Atta Igala, our revered traditional ruler, against the planned coronation of a “King of Igala in Africa”. We reject this attempt to undermine the authority and legitimacy of the Atta Igala and pledge our loyalty and support to our traditional ruler.
This is an orchestrated move to further deepen the pains we are going through now as a result of the disunity among us. Igala Kingdom is ONE and has only ONE Supreme Head , His Royal Majesty,The ATA IGALA.
The Amonu forum of 36 States and FCT Abuja in Nigeria warns the organizers of the planned coronation of a “King of Igala in Africa” to desist from this provocative and divisive act. We will not stand idly by while our cultural and traditional heritage is undermined. We urge the organizers to cancel this event and respect the Igala Kingdom. Needless to Mention that there is no stool as king of Igala in Africa, Igala Kingdom has only one King worldwide. Any preconceived move to replicate the old time hostilities between the Emirate of Kano and Igala Kingdom should be Vehemently resisted by all and sundry.
