Itesiwaju LG’s first lady celebrates first baby of the year, showers family with gifts

No fewer than two families that were blessed with the fruits of the womb in the early hours of this year 2025 benefited from the hands of blessings stretched out to them by the first lady of Itesiwaju Local government, Mrs. Basirat Ojo, who in her love for children and the people of the LG made a journey to Komu , one of the prominent towns in Itesiwaju LG which particularly falls at the ward 4 of the LG to rejoice with those family that welcomed first babies in Itesiwaju LG.

Komu primary health care center which hosted the number one mother in the LG for the programme was filled to full capacity with songs of praise to God for save delivery of those women with the new babies at the center. Thus, Mrs Basirat Ojo presented the mothers of those babies with “cash gifts and baby-care stuff”. These babies weighed 2.5kg and 2.71kg respectively.
In her words of advice, the chairperson said that, ‘given birth to a child is one thing and their care is another, and that their parents should ensure that proper mother care and medical care were given to the children always’ “because they are our tomorrow”, noting the we all would give account on each child in our custody.
