Rev. Aransiola gave this charge in Ibadan while emphasizing the significance of Christmas beyond mere festivities. He encouraged Christians to focus on the spiritual essence of Jesus Christ’s birth, highlighting its historical and redemptive importance rather than limiting the celebration to eating and drinking.

In his message, the cleric, who also serves as the National Director of Nigeria Prays, congratulated Christians on the joyous occasion and urged them to use the season as an opportunity for prayer and reflection.

In a statement, Rev. Aransiola said:

“On this beautiful Christmas day, I want to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a season filled with joy, warmth, and countless blessings. Christmas is such a special time—a chance to celebrate love, togetherness, and the magic of giving.

As you gather with friends and family, may your heart be filled with gratitude for the cherished moments of the past year and hope for the bright future ahead. May the festive lights remind you of the light that the birth of Jesus Christ brings to the world, and may the laughter and joy shared on this historic occasion bring salvation to lost souls.”

Rev. Aransiola further stressed that Christmas is a time to meditate on the good news brought to the world by Jesus Christ’s birth. He encouraged Christians to celebrate the salvation made possible through Jesus while extending kindness and generosity to others.

He added: “Let us rejoice in the blessings we’ve received and spread kindness and generosity to those around us. Your thoughtfulness and dedication have the power to make a significant impact on the lives of many. I take this moment to thank you for being an amazing person.”

Finally, Rev. Aransiola urged Christians to rededicate themselves to the service of God during the Christmas season, reminding them to savor the joy and spiritual significance of the celebration.
