“I want to assure you that the police has come to serve the people well, I want to urge you not to go to social media again whenever the police misbehave to you. You can call the Commissioner of Police, the Police Public Relations Officer or any appropriate authority to address the issue.

“I am very sure we have responsible Commissioner of Police,  Police Public Relations Officer and very wonderful senior officers in place, so, you can approach them if such thing come up at any time. We are here to address your complaints because a lot of falsehood are being propagated in the social media about the police . We have a new police administration in place , a people friendly and competent hands.”

We are also embarking on modern policing based on technology driven and intelligence led. We want to focus on community Policing that will address the issues of the people. For instance, we have the Amotekun by the state government to assist the police in the task of  curbing crimes, so the police need your support, cooperation and collaboration in that regard.”

Egbetokun who disclosed that the police will apply the best method to combat crimes said the police cannot continue to do the  same thing the same way and get good results, adding that their target is to make our community  safe.
