Mrs. Ladoja passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the age of 71.
In his condolence message, Dr. Adewale described the late Mrs. Tinuade Ladoja as a woman of great substance who stood by Oba Ladoja throughout her lifetime.
His message reads in part:
“It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you on the passing of your beloved wife, Mrs. Tinuade Ladoja. Losing a spouse, a companion, and a pillar of strength is a pain that is difficult to articulate, and I cannot imagine the depth of grief you are experiencing at this moment.
Mrs. Tinuade was more than just the wife of a statesman and revered leader; she was a woman of grace, compassion, and unwavering love. Her quiet yet profound influence touched many lives in the community. Her kindness was felt by all who knew her, and her devotion to her family and friends was exemplary. She will be remembered not just for her role as a supportive wife and mother, but for her unique ability to bring warmth, joy, and peace to those around her.
As we mourn her departure, we also celebrate a life well-lived—one that brought light into this world and was marked by integrity, care, and deep faith. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched and in the hearts of those she loved. Though the void she leaves behind is vast, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire, reminding us of the importance of love, family, and community.
I hope you find some comfort in the knowledge that her memory will forever be cherished and that her good deeds will endure as a testament to the person she was. Her soul has found eternal peace, and she will always be a guiding light watching over her loved ones.
During this difficult time, may you and your family find strength in one another, in your faith, and in the outpouring of love from those who stand by your side. Please know that you are not alone in your grief; the entire community mourns with you, and we lift you up in our thoughts and prayers. May the Almighty grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and may Mrs. Tinuade’s soul rest in perfect peace.”
The late Mrs. Tinuade Ladoja was a prominent member of the Pastor-in-Council of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Ikeja Parish 1 Cathedral, Lagos—the church’s highest decision-making body. She remained committed to the growth and activities of the church until her passing.
