The Balogun Babalaje of Ibadan land , Chief Ayo Folorunso has advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to solve the high price of fuel ravaging the country .
Chief Folorunso also known as Ayo Onike stated that the problem has persisted and lingered for too long so much that it is causing untold hardship among Nigerians irrespective their economic and financial situation.
He opined that the issue of instability of fuel price has affected the economy so bad that many people have turned into beggars not because they want to but due to the bad economic situation occasioned by vagaries in fuel price adding that this has skyrocketed the price of goods and services beyond the reach of average Nigerians .
The Balogun Babalaje explained that this has equally affected him because he had to cater for the needs of many people who ordinarily should not have come to him for monetary assistance but who had had to do sodue to the bad economic situation.
He admonished that President Tinubu should make fuel available outside being affordable so that it would be within the reach of Nigerians noting that any thing outside this will not help the economy because many beggars will emerge if the needful is not done.
Chief Folorunso said further that the price should hover around six hundred naira instead of the one thousand naira it is at the moment stressing that fuel is one thing which connects every Nigerian irrespective of their status as it is the live wire of the Nigerian economy.
