
The victory of Nigeria born British boxer Anthony Joshua is a psychological boost which will enhance his psyche.
Speaking in Ibadan while reviewing the boxing bout between Finnish born Robert Hellenius and Joshua which the later won through technical knockout in the seventh round, Abimbola Adeoye, a boxing Promoter noted that the victory would position the former World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion for subsequent fights.
Adeoye whose father was the late Oyo State Amateur Boxing Association (OYSABA) Chairman explained that Joshua was able to prove to his numerous fans that he is capable of winning more matches even though the match in question failed to live up to expectations.
He argued that the Nigeria born British pugilist was able to entertain his fans before delivering the knock out punch which threw Hellenius to the canvas adding that it was a good fight where Joshua was in control before flooring his opponent.

Adeoye said further that it is not easy to be a champion after being dethroned stressing that it was a good development which would bode well for Joshua.
He said that “ stretching the bout to the seventh round showed that Joshua has worked on his stamina positing that it was a test for him and his opponent “ observing that the fight would boost his confidence which would make him win subsequent fights .
Adeoye submitted that Joshua would better sustain the momentum pointing out that it is not easy to be an undisputed heavyweight champion like Iron Mike Tyson who would return after his defeat just as he enjoined him to maintain the momentum in order to be in good stead to win future fights.
