The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital, Dr Raymond (AbduRahman) Adeyinka Adewale has described the Otun Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as man of honour integrity and impeccable quality who has written his good name in the sand of time.
Dr Adewale made the submission at the instance of the 80th birthday of Oba Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo state.
The Aare in a statement said: It is with immense joy and profound respect that I celebrate you on your 80th birthday today. Reaching this milestone is a testament not only to the grace of the Almighty but also to the remarkable life you have led, filled with service, wisdom, and a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals.
“Your journey through life has been one of exceptional leadership, resilience, and unshakable dedication to the advancement of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
“As a businessman, politician, and philanthropist, your contributions to society have left an indelible mark in the sand of time. Your tenure as Governor of Oyo State remains a period fondly remembered for the strides you took towards improving infrastructure, education, and the welfare of your people.
” Your policies were progressive, and your governance was marked by a deep concern for the common man, a rare trait in today’s political climate. You laid a foundation that continues to benefit generations after you, and for that, we are forever grateful.
