

The Coordinator of the “Oyo Dotun” JDS Christian Forum, Pastor Adediji Olusoji, has assured the people of Oyo State that the emergence of Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi as governor in 2027 will alleviate the ongoing hardship in the state.

Pastor Adediji made this statement during an interview with Oodua News following a prayer session organized for the philanthropist to support his governorship ambition for 2027.
He explained that the widespread call for Engr. Dotun Sanusi to contest for governor is rooted in his philanthropic efforts and unwavering support for the masses across Oyo State.
Known as “SOJ” to his supporters, Pastor Adediji emphasized that this growing demand has prompted the Oyo Dotun JDS Christian Forum, along with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and various other bodies, to publicly declare their support for the Ilaji boss.
He urged Christian organizations throughout the state to continue rallying behind Engr. Sanusi, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in ensuring his success.
Pastor Adediji further explained that the prayer meeting and show of solidarity were crucial in demonstrating to Engr. Sanusi that religious communities in the state fully back his ambition.
“I want to sincerely appreciate the presence of the leadership of the Oyo State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), under the supervision of Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju, and the many other Christian groups from across the 33 Local Government Areas in the state,” Pastor Adediji stated.
“As the Coordinator of the JDS Christian Forum, we will continue to intensify our efforts to ensure that this movement succeeds in 2027. I also appeal to various organizations in the state to stand firm in their support for Engr. Sanusi to achieve this goal.”
Describing Engr. Sanusi as a man of impeccable character, Pastor Adediji highlighted his consistent commitment to improving the lives of the people through his numerous charitable deeds.
He expressed gratitude to traditional rulers, market traders, and the Muslim community for their support and presence at the event, reaffirming that Engr. Sanusi is deserving of their continued backing.
In closing, Pastor Adediji called on members of the Oyo Dotun JDS Christian Forum to remain united and dedicated in their efforts, assuring them that the emergence of Engr. Sanusi as governor in 2027 will bring an end to the hardship currently faced by the people of Oyo State.
