


The Executive Chairman, Lagelu Local Government, Iyana-offa, Hon Mudashiru Kamorudeen on Tuesday marks his 100 days in office in style with the empowerment of 148 less privileged indigenes as well as distribution of free first aid equipment to schools

The event which coincides with the birthday anniversary of the council boss witnessed the presence of political associates in the LG who were on ground to felicitate him on the joyous occasion
Hon Mudashiru,in his magnanimity to commemorate the birthday celebrations, supported about 148 less privileged people across the 14 wards in the LG such as widows, people living with disability, market men and women, youths, party loyalists and many others beneficiaries with cash gifts.
The council boss also distributed” free first aids equipment” to many invited schools in the LGA such as Islamic Mission School,Lagun, St Anthony RCM ,Ejioku, St Augustine RCM Akinsawe, St James School, Edun, Lagelu Special School , Lalupon, IDC Pry School Offa- Adedokun, Christ Church School, Odo – Oba, CPS 1 Kajola, St Andrews Pry School, kufi, Lagelu and Special School, iyana Church,
Others are; St Martin’s RCM, Lagun, Community Grammar School, Lagun, N.O idowu Comprehensive High School, Olorunda
Isabatudeen Girls Grammar School, General Gas, Igbo Elerin Grammar School and many more.
This ,he said is to enable pupils and students in schools across the local government to be adequately taken care of in case of minor injuries
Hon. Mudashiru kamorudeen in his words, appreciated the almighty Allah for the opportunity to be alive to witness another birthday saying that clocking 100 days in office was God’s doing.
He also thanked the Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his support
reiterating his determination to do more for his people.
He noted that cash support given out and the distribution of first aid equipment to schools were all from his personal purse and promised to lend more helping hands to the less privileged in the LGA.
Many dignitaries that were at the occasion showered encomium on the council boss urging him to continue the good work. Few of the dignitaries and well wishers present were, the Vice chairman of the council and political head of Lagelu North LCDA, Hon. Raji olayinka Sadiq, the lqeader of the house in LG, hon. Idogbe Aduragbemi Emmanuel, the secretary to the LG and political head of Lagelu West LCDA, Hon. Alade olugbenga Ademola, all councillors led by Hon. Adesumbo Babatunde, all supervisory councillors, special assistants, party leaders, party faithful, while career officers were led by the HLGA of the council, Engr. Eniayewu kehinde and many others.
Still in the euphoria of the celebration, the wife of the Executive Chairman, Mrs Taiwo Abibat Mudashiru in company of some of the supervisory councillors and career officers, after the celebration at the council headquarters, embarked on visitation tour to motherless homes to show love to children with special needs, orphans and the vulnerable where she presented food stuffs and other daily needs to the children in commemoration of her husband’s 100 days in office and birthday celebration.
Prominent among the orphanage visited were ” Jesus kids home for Special Needs at Ifelodun area of Academy,iwo road ibadan, where pastor Mrs Ololade Adamolekun, the president of the orphanage warmly received the wife of the chairman and took the entourage round the facility. Mrs Adamolekun then appreciated the wife of the council boss for her gifts on behalf of the orphanage home.
In same vein, Mrs Abiola Alli also received the entourage to the ” Evangelist Aminat kikelomo Alli’s foundation ( He careth orphanage home)” which is situated the at General Gas area of Akobo Ibadan where Mrs Taiwo Mudashiru presented the home with many gifts including a cake. In appreciation, the children at the orphanage home sang and prayed for the number one family in the LG, the council and Oyo state at large.
