Participants at the 2024 International Prayer Academy, (IPA) of the Gethsemane Prayer Ministries International have been admonished to seize the opportunity of the 31st edition of the prayer Academy to aquire fresh prayer fire for better performance in life.
The General Overseer of the Ministry, Rev. Dr Moses Olanrewaju Aransiola gave the admonition while declaring opened the 2024 International Prayer Academy held at the national headquarters, Eleyele Ibadan Nigeria.
Dr. Aransiola who is the President, of the Prayer School said the trumpet which was blown seven times to officially declare open the 2024 IPA was symbolic adding that it was used to bring down the host of heaven to the programme.
According to him, every Christian needs the fire of God for better performance in life, as well fire immunity to conquer attacks of the devil ” As God’s children, you need the fire of God to function well in life, hence, the topic, “Fresh Prayer Fire for Better Performance in Life.”
“Your life and your ministry will command attention when you carry the fire of God, you will be able to tread and operate every where you go. Fire will give you immunity against any form of attack, he added.
The highly revered Clergy who is a veteran prayer teacher encouraged the participants to seize the opportunity of the prayer Academy to ask for the fire of God for better performance in their journey in life.
“I encourage everyone of you in this great and life changing Prayer Academy to ask for fresh prayer fire that commands transformation and trepidation.”
Guest Speaker, Apostle Seth Akhilele in his ministration titled, “Unnoticed Until Fire Came said for Christians to achieve good results in life, they need to take the uncommon steps to get unusual results.
According to him, it’s only uncommon actions that produce results. adding that for Christians to perform better in life, they need to take the risk that will give them unusual results.
Earlier in his teaching, the Director of the Prayer School, Pastor Bayo Owoseni said the essence of the Prayer Academy is to teach the participants how they can catch fire through prayer.
He said as the Church move to the end time period, there is a greater need for more powerful prevailing prayers that will prevail over satanic hordes of darkness that have enslaved countless numbers of people and whole nation.
“The Church has been greatly hindered in her onslaught against these devious forces because God’s children in the majority are untaught, untrained and ill- equipped in their prayer lives .
“Many don’t even know the reason why they should pray, least of all confronting the devil in violent spiritual warfare, while many others who desire to pray are stealthy or violently attacked by the adversary. Consequently, some have become either distracted or uninterested in prayer or ineffectual in prayer.”
According to him, prayer is also an art to be learnt because it is no longer something that comes naturally to man after the fall of Adam.
He then admonished the participants to seize the opportunity of the 2024 IPA to rekindle the fire on the alter for better performance in life.
The programme which continues Tuesday 17th will have Rev (Dr) Friday Bekee, Apostle Seth Akhilele and the host, Rev’d (Dr.) Moses Aransiola minister to the participants in a more powerful dimension. The Programme starts by 5PM.
