Economic Crisis: Pray for Nigeria, Tinubu’s administration, Jesuleti Admonishes Christian Bodies

Christian bodies in the country have  been charged to pray fervently for the nation and the administration of President Bola Tinubu in order to help redeem and  salvage the country from imminent collapse owing to the hardship which occurred from his economic policies.

Speaking with Journalists on the economic crisis rocking the nation and plan of the president to address the Niger issue with war,  Prophet Olu Jesuleti, the Minister in charge of Christ Apostolic Church, Abanla, Alafara, Ologuneru area in Ibadan, cautioned the  president on the move, urging him to embark on measures capable of addressing the economic problem facing the people.

According to him, war is never a good option  to address the issue in Niger Republic, instead,  he should employ dialogue.

According to him, this is not the time the President should concentrate his energy on war against a sister nation, rather, he should look for means to put his house in order.

“Waging war against Niger at this point is just another distraction for President Tinubu in the  governance of the country. The president should adopt dialogue as a  measure to wholistically address the problems,  Nigerians at the moment need the president to concentrate seriously on the economic intervention to rescue the people from the severe hardship facing them.

“Christian bodies in the country too need to pray more and intercede for nation and the leadership of the country, the word of God says God will turn against  any nation that forgets their maker (God).  The whole world has sinned against God, hence, the reasons the world is besieged with war day and night. Our people should pray more, God is faithful to show mercy, he explained.

The clergy while  berating the leadership of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) for resolving to use force to return democracy into Niger said the step may further heighten the crisis in the country.

He charged Christian leadership and members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the country to take necessary steps in meeting the president to step down the idea of war against Niger and embark on measures to address the economic crisis occasion by the removal of petrol subsidy in Nigeria.

“Nigeria is God’s own country, if not for the prayers of the saints, the country would been plunged into  war a long time ago, so, I want to appeal to God’s people in the country  to intensify their prayers, trusting that, God will redeem the nation.”

Prophet Jesuleti then appealed to President Tinubu to concentrate his  energy on the betterment of the nation and focus more on how he would his wealth of experience to transform the economy of the nation.
