Reports monitored by Darling Television indicate that the unrest has resulted in the looting of palliative warehouses, destruction of public properties, and significant violence.

In Kano State, the government has declared a 24-hour curfew following rampant destruction, looting of public properties, and severe violence. The decision aims to restore order and prevent further chaos in the state.

Gombe: The protesters were prevented from accessing the Emir’s palace by policemen who fired teargas cannisters at them.

Abuja: The protesters were prevented from accessing the Eagle Square after they attempted to move away from the Pro-government Protesters who were just yards away from them.

Similarly, Kaduna State has imposed a 24-hour curfew in response to escalating violence and destruction. The state government has taken this measure to curb the unrest and ensure the safety of its residents.

In Yobe State, the protests have also turned destructive, with many government-owned buses being burned down. The extent of the damage in Yobe highlights the intensity of the situation.

While the accurate number of casualties and mortalities from these protests cannot be confirmed at the moment, it is evident that the violence has had a severe impact. Despite these incidents, it is noteworthy that more states are recording peaceful protests compared to those experiencing violence.

Authorities are urging calm and have called for protesters to express their grievances peacefully. Security forces have been deployed to maintain order and protect lives and properties.
