
The All Progressives Congress has scheduled Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for the screening of aspirants seeking national offices ahead of its 2026 National Convention.
In a notice issued by the party’s Aspirants’ Screening Committee, all aspirants who have successfully purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms were invited to attend the exercise.
According to the statement, the screening will take place at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja and is expected to commence at 9:00 a.m.
The committee stressed that attendance is mandatory, noting that all aspirants must appear in person with relevant supporting documents for verification.
The notice, signed by the committee’s Secretary, Isa Yuguda, and shared via the party’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, also included contact phone numbers for further enquiries.
Part of the statement read:
“The Aspirants’ Screening Committee of the APC National Convention 2026 hereby invites all aspirants who have duly purchased and submitted Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for national offices at the convention to attend the screening exercise.”
It added that all aspirants must arrive promptly and present necessary documents for verification.
The screening exercise is a crucial step in the lead-up to the party’s 2026 National Convention, where officials at various national levels are expected to emerge.
