The Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Professor Akinola Akinlabi has congratulated Muslims all over the world and OYSCATECH Muslim Community on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
According to a statement by the Registrar of the Institution, Mr. R.F.A. Adeniji, the Rector appreciated the almighty Allah for the opportunity given to Muslims to participate in this year’s celebration.
Prof. Akinlabi called on Muslims to maintain the piety that they have exhibited during the holy month of Ramadan while admonishing them to continue to offer ceaseless prayers to almighty Allah on behalf of the nation and all and sundry.
Prof. Akinlabi expressed optimism that the present challenges confronting the nation will soon be a thing of the past.
He called for love, peaceful co-existence and religious tolerance among OYSCATECH Staff, Students and the citizenry at large.
He prayed for Allah’s protection and blessings upon all and sundry as we mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
