
The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan, Dr Adeyinka Adewale, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across Oyo State and beyond as they celebrate the 2026 Eid el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, Dr. Adewale congratulated the Muslim faithful for successfully completing the holy month of Ramadan, describing the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to Allah.
He urged adherents of Islam to sustain the virtues of patience, generosity, and unity cultivated during Ramadan, emphasizing that the lessons of the fasting period should continue to guide their daily lives. According to him, Eid el-Fitr is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity to strengthen communal bonds and extend love to the less privileged.
The Aare Musulumi also called for peace and harmony within communities, stressing the importance of coexistence among people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds. He encouraged residents of Ibadan and its environs to support one another and work collectively for the progress and stability of society.
Dr. Adewale, who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Adamasingba, Ibadan further appealed to politicians, rich individuals and leaders at all levels to prioritize the welfare of citizens, noting that compassion and justice are essential for sustainable development.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, praying for continued blessings, prosperity, and unity in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
