The spokesperson to Ikere-Ekiti-born philanthropist and Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Alonge Foundation,Harrison Olaniyi Alonge(HOA), Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, has described him as “an achiever of our generation,” noting that his leadership style, dedication to community development, and commitment to humanitarian service continue to inspire many across Ekiti State and beyond.
In a statement released and made available to the press in Lagos today to commemorate Achievers’ Day 2026, Ogunyebi said Alonge has consistently demonstrated a passion for service through his philanthropic initiatives and unwavering support for youth empowerment, education, and community development.
Ogunyebi, the Isinbode-Ekiti-born journalist noted that Alonge’s activities through the Harrison Alonge Foundation have positively impacted many lives, particularly among young people and vulnerable groups in society.
According to him, some of the humanitarian interventions include the installation of solar-powered lights in parts of Ikere-Ekiti, the distribution of food items and cash support to over 2,000 residents across the 16 Local Government Areas of Ekiti State, and a medical outreach programme that benefited more than 500 residents.
He also highlighted Alonge’s intervention in the rescue of four Nigerians who were thrown into the Atlantic Ocean, noting that the successful rescue operation was carried out through the logistics support of Alonge’s firm.
Ogunyebi further explained that Alonge’s contributions to leadership advocacy, social development, and political engagement have earned him admiration among stakeholders and community leaders.
According to him, Alonge’s vision for a more progressive society built on integrity, unity, and inclusive development continues to resonate with many people.
“Harrison Olaniyi Alonge represents a new generation of visionary leaders who are committed to making meaningful contributions to society. His dedication to service and his consistent support for initiatives that uplift people make him an achiever of our generation,” the spokesperson stated.
He therefore urged young leaders to emulate Alonge’s spirit of service, hard work, and commitment to the common good, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved through selfless leadership and active community participation.
