A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State and Chief Executive Officer of the Harrison Alonge Foundation,Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA), has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, following the inauguration of the party’s campaign council ahead of the 2026 governorship election.

Alonge described the development as a strong indication of the party’s readiness and unity as it prepares for the forthcoming poll, expressing confidence that the campaign council will further mobilize grassroots support for the governor’s re-election bid.

The APC recently constituted a 57-member campaign council to drive the governor’s re-election campaign, with Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, appointed as chairman of the council. The council comprises key party leaders and stakeholders drawn from the 16 local government areas of the state such as; Distinguished Senator Biodun Olujimi,Hon Bimbo Daramola among other important dignitaries.

In his congratulatory message released through his media aide, Comrade Olawale Ezekiel, and made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, Alonge commended the leadership of the APC for putting together a formidable team capable of delivering victory for the party in the forthcoming governorship election.

According to him, the composition of the campaign council reflects the strength, unity, and widespread acceptance of Governor Oyebanji’s administration across Ekiti State.

He also urged party members and supporters to remain committed, united, and focused as campaign activities gather momentum ahead of the governorship election.
Alonge reaffirmed his unwavering support for Governor Oyebanji, noting that the governor’s developmental strides and inclusive leadership have earned him the trust and confidence of the people.

The Ikere-Ekiti-born philanthropist expressed optimism that the APC would record another resounding victory at the polls as Ekiti people continue to rally behind the governor’s vision for sustainable development.
