A governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Ambassador Rahmat Ayinde, has commended the peaceful and successful conduct of the party’s state congress, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening unity and internal democracy within the party.
Ayinde, who is seeking the party’s ticket for the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State, made the remarks while reacting to the outcome of the congress which produced new state executives to steer the affairs of the party.
She congratulated the newly elected State Chairman, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo, and other members of the state executive committee, expressing confidence in their capacity to reposition the party and consolidate its structures across the state.
According to her, the successful conduct of the congress demonstrates the party’s commitment to democratic principles and internal cohesion, which she said are vital for achieving electoral victories in future elections.
Ayinde further called on party members, leaders and stakeholders to remain united and focused on the progressive ideals of the APC. She urged them to work collectively towards building a stronger party capable of delivering purposeful leadership and sustainable development to the people of the state.
The governorship hopeful also reaffirmed her commitment to supporting initiatives that would strengthen the party and promote the collective vision of progress and good governance in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 polls.
