The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Oyo State Chapter, has activated its online membership registration portal in what party leaders described as a decisive structural consolidation drive aimed at strengthening its grassroots mobilisation ahead of future political engagements.

The announcement was made during the weekend at a press briefing in Ibadan by the Chairman of the Contact and Membership Mobilisation Committee and Chairman of the Membership Revalidation and Membership Registration (MRMR) Committee, Mr Ayo Akinyemi.

He issued a direct call for immediate compliance, while declaring the portal fully operational and accessible to both existing and prospective members across Oyo State.

“This marks a major milestone in strengthening our party structures digitally and institutionally. Every committed member of ADC in Oyo State is hereby directed to immediately proceed online and complete their membership registration and revalidation. This is a defining moment for our party. The official registration portal is https://adcregistration.ng.”

Mr Akinyemi described the initiative as more than a routine administrative exercise, stressing that it represents a strategic effort to digitally reposition the party and formalise its membership base across all wards and local government areas in the state.

“This is not just registration. It is a structural consolidation exercise that will determine the strength of our grassroots mobilization ahead of future political engagements,” Mr. Akinyemi stressed.

He used the occasion to commend the National Working Committee on MRMR, headed by Alhaji Kasim Imam as Chairman and Aisha Yesufu as Vice Chairman, for what he described as “a transparent, credible, and technologically progressive membership system.”

According to him, their leadership has positioned the ADC as a modern political party ready to compete effectively in the evolving democratic space.

Also addressing the briefing, the Secretary of the MRMR Committee in Oyo State, Mrs Folake Tafita, assured members that the digital registration process had been deliberately designed to be seamless, fast and user-friendly.

She said the portal is easy to navigate, that registration can be completed within minutes, and that members can fill and print their party registration card immediately after completing the online process.

Mrs Tafita urged members, particularly youths and women, to take advantage of the digital platform to formally secure their place within the party’s structure.

Members are required to visit the official portal, click on either “New Registration” for new members or “Revalidation” for existing members, carefully fill in their personal details including name, state, local government, ward, phone number and email, upload required identification details if requested, review all information before submission, and then submit the form to download or print their membership slip or card confirmation.

They are advised to keep a copy for their records and present it at their Ward or Local Government structure if required.

The party strongly advised members to ensure that all information provided is accurate to avoid future complications.

The Oyo State ADC leadership called on all existing members to immediately revalidate their membership and urged new entrants who believe in credible leadership and people-centred governance to register without delay.

Ward, Local Government and State Executives were also directed to mobilise extensively to ensure total compliance across the state.
