

Members of the Obidient Movement in Oyo State are set to convene a general meeting aimed at strengthening the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the state.

The meeting, organised in collaboration with the Obidient Diaspora tagged: “Making ADC a householdparty in OyoState,” will take place at the ADC State Secretariat, Veterinary Mokola, Ibadan, on Saturday February, 28 at 10 am prompt
The Chairman of the ADC in Oyo state, Alhaji Yinka Olona is expected to be among notable speakers at the meeting which will be graced by other party executives and working committee members ..
Organisers said the gathering will focus on expanding the party’s grassroots presence.
Speaking ahead of the event, the announcer, Jimoh Alfred, said the meeting would provide an opportunity for members and supporters to strategise on deepening political engagement in the state.
“This is more than just a meeting. It is a call to action for everyone who believes that a new Nigeria is possible. We are committed to building a stronger ADC in Oyo State and ensuring that the party becomes a household name,” he said.
A major highlight of the event will be the offer of 100 free ADC membership registrations, sponsored by the leadership of the Obidient Diaspora.
Alfred described the initiative as part of efforts to encourage wider participation, adding that: “The free membership registration is a demonstration of our commitment to inclusiveness and growth.”
“We want more people to come on board and be part of the movement for positive change,” he added.
Organisers have urged party members, supporters and all Obidient members of Oyo State to attend and take part in discussions on the future of the ADC in the state.
