The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs, Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, Dr. Adeyinka Adewale, has lauded the economic reforms and policy direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the administration’s efforts as “bold, necessary, and transformative” for the long-term prosperity of Nigeria.

Speaking with Oodua News in Ibadan, Dr. Adewale said the President’s reform-driven agenda demonstrates courageous leadership aimed at repositioning the nation’s economy for sustainable growth.

According to him, the administration’s fiscal restructuring, subsidy removal policy, revenue optimization strategies, and renewed focus on infrastructure development reflect a deliberate attempt to correct structural imbalances that have hindered Nigeria’s economic potential for decades.
“True leadership is often tested in difficult times,” Dr. Adewale stated. “The current administration has shown remarkable resolve in taking tough but necessary decisions to stabilize the economy and restore investor confidence. These reforms may require patience, but they are laying the foundation for long-term national prosperity.”
He noted that early indicators, including improved revenue generation, strengthened currency management measures, and renewed foreign investor interest, suggest that the policies are beginning to yield measurable impact.
The respected leader, who is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, Adamasingba, Ibadan emphasized that economic transformation requires collective sacrifice and unity across religious, ethnic, and political lines. He called on Nigerians to remain supportive of the government’s reform initiatives while also urging transparency and continued dialogue to cushion the effects of economic adjustments on vulnerable citizens.
Dr. Adewale further commended the administration’s drive to expand social intervention programs and infrastructure projects, stating that such initiatives will enhance productivity, create employment opportunities, and improve the overall standard of living.
“Economic recovery is a process, not an event,” he added. “What we are witnessing is a strategic reset. With sustained implementation and public cooperation, Nigeria will emerge stronger, more competitive, and economically resilient.”
According to him, community leaders in recent times had echoed his sentiments, expressing optimism that ongoing reforms will strengthen the nation’s fiscal framework and open new avenues for growth across key sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, and technology.
Dr. Adewale concluded by urging continued prayers and constructive engagement from citizens, noting that national development thrives when leadership and followership work in harmony toward a shared vision of progress
