The Executive Chairman of Oluyole L.ocal Government, Hon. Engr. Hon Akeem Olatunji on Thursday , officially commissioned the newly renovated Orisunmibare Primary Health Center, in Bare community, along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway way promising not to relent in giving back to communities, major infrastructural facilities promised during his electioneering campaign
Recall that Hon. Olatunji had promised to address the pressing issue of health care in the community, specifically the renovation of the facility and shortage of personnel at the health center during an inaugural summit organized by the Orisunmibare Community Development Forum (OCDF) recently
At the event, the council boss also assured the community that the road leading to area will receive urgent attention as well as other areas of concern
Speaking at the event , Engr Akeem Olatunji reiterated his administration’ s unwavering commitment to infrastructural development in the local government area stating that the requests of residents of Bare community is being addressed according to priority
The council boss said he had promised to emulate the State Governor, Seyi Makinde in good governance and delivery of dividendsof democracy to grassroots dwellers.
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) Caretaker Chairman in Osun State, Chief Dr. Babatunde Tijani (Double T) in his contribution stated that he was highly encouraged by the performances of Engr.Akeem Olatunji
According to him, the LG boss has proven beyond doubt that he is up to task and therefore urged PDP party faithful and members of the community to further support the effort of the council chairman so as to provide more developmental projects and to be on the same page with the state government in all developmental achievements.
Also Speaking at the commissioning ceremony , the Magaji Adanla, Engr Abdul Kareem AbudulMojeed, Chairman circular road committee affirmed that the provision of Primary Health care services is paramount to the developmental projects across the local government in the state
He noted that people of Bare community should maximize the health facilities and support PDP in the state for continuation of the good works of Governor Seyi Makinde
The Primary Health Coordinator P.H.C Oluyole Local Government, Mrs Emiade Olabisi, expressed her heart of gratitude to the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde and chairman Oluyole local council, Engr Akeem Olatunji for the project.
She said the health centre has qualified and highly dedicated staffs and all primary health facilities are available urging members of the community not to hesitate to visit the centre for adequate treatment anytime.
Mrs Eniade advised that Ward Community Development Committee should be selected among the community for supervision and smooth running of the Health Centre for other benefits.
In separate interviews, the Baale Bare, Baale Saka Ewebiyi, and Coordinator, Orisunmibare Community Development Forum ( OODF) , Mr Ayo Akinyemi appreciated the good gesture of Engr Akeem Olatunji for executing the request of community that was brought to him.
They used the occasion to request for the completion of the road leading to Bare village and other facilities.
In attendance of the occasion were Local Government PDP Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Sanni Arewa, Party Secretary, Madam Idowu Gesi, Youth leader, Alhaji Moruf Oladapo, Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adeniran, Leader of the House, Hon. Azeez Morenikeji, Chief of staff Hon. Azeez Babalola, and the Super for Health, Hon. Mariam Abass.
