The stakeholders forum was reacting to a publication by one Barrister P.O. Adesokan, who ,though was absent at the meeting, was commenting at the meeting held at Ado Awaye residence of its leader,Chief Oladokun.
The APC chieftains debunked the erroneous and misleading publication against Senator Agboola, wondering how someone who was neither invited to not present at a meeting could be misquoting Senator Agboola.

The party chieftains disclosed that Senator Hosea Agboola only advised that the people of Oke-Ogun should be forthright and meticulous in their agitation for either the governorship or the senetorial slot in the forthright coming general elections next year.

” It will therefore be unfair for someone who was not at a meeting to be misquoting and putting erroneous words into the mouths of those who were at the sensitive meeting , the APC chieftains added .

The stakeholders forum said there was nothing wrong for any party chieftain to advise members as well as aspirants adding that, that did not amount to saying that they were “unripe ” to contest for any elective position.

” Oke Ogun is blessed with eggheads comparable to their contemporaries all over the world in terms of dedication, intelligence, honesty, integrity and pedigree and have always served to the best of their abilities anywhere they found themselves ,the APC stakeholders observed .
The party leaders therefore called on members and aspirants to caution their supporters not to ignite flames of disunity within the party.

“Every party member, aspirants and supporters should work for the success of our great and not pollute the political water in the State as may this could even be counter productive to interest of any aspirants such people may thought to advancing, the stakeholders warned
