The Provost of the Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology (OYSCOHEST), Eleyele, Ibadan, Pharmacist (Mrs) Oluyemisi Oyewo, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, staff, and students, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State and Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, DSc, GSSRS, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
Speaking on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, staff, and students, the Provost commended Governor Makinde’s pragmatic leadership, visionary mind, and transformative governance, which have continued to positively impact the development of Oyo State.
The goodwill message was conveyed in a statement issued in Ibadan and signed by the College Public Relations Officer, Mr. Sola Samuel Ojewole.
Mrs. Oyewo commended the Governor’s innovative spirit, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence, noting that his administration’s policies and programmes have left lasting and visible footprints across the state, including the education and health sectors.
She expressed the College’s profound appreciation for the Governor’s consistent financial and logistics support over the years, describing his leadership as exemplary and deeply beneficial to the College.
The Provost offered prayers for God’s continued protection and guidance over Governor Makinde, wishing him many more years of impactful service marked by wisdom, good health, greater accomplishments, and enduring peace.
