
The son of the Personal Assistant to the Oyo State Governor, Alhaji Akeem Azeez, Master Aleem Azeez, has graduated with First Class Honours from Abiola Ajimobi Technical University, Ibadan.
Aleem Azeez was among the 50 students who were awarded First Class degrees at the institution’s 5th convocation ceremony for the 2025 graduating set. He obtained his degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The ceremony, held on Saturday at the university’s Library Hall, was attended by several dignitaries, including the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, who was the Visitor to the university and was represented by his deputy, Barrister Bayo Lawal. Top government officials and other distinguished guests were also present.
Expressing his gratitude, the father of the graduand, Alhaji Akeem Azeez, thanked God for the achievement, describing the moment as one of great fulfilment.
“I am deeply grateful to Almighty God for this achievement. Seeing my son graduate with First Class Honours is a moment of great joy and fulfilment for our family.”

Meanwhile, a total of 183 students graduated from the institution across the Faculties of Natural and Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Environmental Sciences and Management.
Providing a breakdown of the graduands, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adesola Ajayi, stated that 75 students graduated from the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, 86 from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and 22 from the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.
