The Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Resorts, Chief (Engr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Engr. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, FNSE (Arusa I), the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on his conferment of an honorary Doctor of Science (DSc) degree by Lead City University, Ibadan.
The honour was bestowed during the institution’s convocation ceremony, where the Olubadan was recognized for his outstanding contributions to leadership, public service, and the socio-economic development of Ibadanland.
According to the university, the revered monarch has consistently demonstrated unwavering commitment to the wellbeing and progress of his people, both during his earlier public service years and throughout his reign.
In a congratulatory message, Chief Dotun Sanusi described the award as well-deserved and befitting of the monarch’s stature and far-reaching impact.
“Congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Kaabiyesi, Oba Engr. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on your conferment of the honorary DSc by Lead City University. More feathers to your honoured and respected crown, sir,” he said.
Sanusi added that the recognition reflects the high regard in which the Olubadan is held nationwide, noting that his exemplary leadership continues to serve as a unifying force within Ibadanland.
He further expressed confidence that the traditional ruler will continue to inspire development and uphold the rich cultural heritage of the ancient city.
